My Professional Journey

Before creating Hope Affirm Thrive, I spent over 14 years in the mental health field, wearing many hats:

• Counselling Psychologist

• Community Support Worker

• Mental Health Counsellor

With a Masters degree and specialized training in trauma-informed therapies like EMDR and Resource Therapy, I thought I had all the tools I needed to handle anything life threw my way.

But then came my own fertility story.

When Professional Expertise Meets Personal Experience

For 13 years, I battled infertility while trying to maintain my thriving career. This wasn't just any journey—it was:

• 5 years of active treatment

• 3 different fertility clinics

• 4 major surgeries

• 6 heartbreaking miscarriages

• Countless tears, hopes, and disappointments

I had spent nearly a decade building my career, feeling:

Then infertility treatment turned my world upside down. Suddenly, I was:
